Ismaël Lucas ZGHIKH (33) is a multidisciplinary artist and architect based in Brussels. He holds a Post-Master in Design from ENSA Grenoble (FR) and a Master’s degree in Architecture from FA+U Mons (BE). With over ten years of experience in architecture, he now seeks to move beyond conventional paths. His goal is to engage with more hybrid fields, combining space, image, and experimentation, and to demonstrate a commitment to innovative approaches.
Alongside his architectural work, Ismaël develops a personal practice through drawing, photography, collage, and painting. He continuously captures and archives images, cultivating an intuitive process rooted in observation, storytelling, and emotional resonance.
In 2024–2025, he spent over a year and a half traveling across Europe in a 1991 Volkswagen T3, exploring alternative ways of living and participating in volunteer projects within local communities. His journey later took him to India, where he contributed to organic farming and reforestation projects for several months.
His work has been exhibited on various occasions, including at Mori Film Lab (Forest), Het Bos (Antwerp), ERG (Ixelles), and more.
